Fresh-user launch (Windows only)
Windows: creates (or resets) local helper user user1 as a standard user, stores a fresh random password encrypted with DPAPI, and launches Zoom Workplace as that user. user1 is not added to Administrators.

How to get in
Setup, step by step.
Open 1132-fixer.xyz and pick Windows, Chrome, or macOS.
Windows 5.6.0: run 1132 Fixer as Administrator and press Fix now. It recreates helper account user1 (standard user) and launches Zoom Workplace as that user.
Chrome 1.2.7: install the extension from https://github.com/1132-Fixer/chrome, open a Zoom tab, and click FIX ZOOM. It does not create a Windows user or isolated profile.
macOS: open the notarized universal .dmg from the macOS tab (related build).
Approve any Windows permission prompts on the desktop app. After the Windows fix, use the helper shortcut for later Zoom launches as user1.

What this tool may adjust
- Windows: deletes and recreates a local helper account named user1 with a fresh random password (not the old static user1/user1).
- Windows: user1 is a standard user — not added to the local Administrators group. A legacy admin user1 is stripped of those rights on the next fix run.
- Windows: optionally creates or repairs a desktop shortcut that launches Zoom as user1.
- Windows: launches Zoom Workplace as user1. Anything stored in the user1 helper profile is removed when that profile is reset.
- Chrome: on an explicit FIX ZOOM click, deletes cookies for zoom.us and zoom.com and reloads the active Zoom tab. No Windows user, isolated profile, or desktop shortcut.
- macOS: opens a notarized universal .dmg. No new user is created; no group membership is changed.
How to go back
- Windows (GUI): open Computer Management -> Local Users and Groups (lusrmgr.msc), select user1, and Delete. Confirm to remove the home profile if prompted.
- Windows (CLI, run as Administrator): net user user1 /delete -- removes the account; the C:\Users\user1 profile may need a separate deletion via System Properties -> Advanced -> User Profiles.
- Windows (shortcut): drag the helper desktop shortcut to the Recycle Bin to remove the convenience launcher.
- Chrome: sign back into Zoom in the browser; cookies are recreated on the next login. Remove the extension in chrome://extensions if you no longer want it.
- macOS: drag 1132 Fixer.app from /Applications to the Trash. The .dmg image can be ejected and discarded.
Pause before using this if
- Your device is managed by an employer, school, or MDM and you do not have permission to create or delete local user accounts.
- You sign in to Windows with a work or school account and local user changes are restricted by group policy.
- You cannot follow the manual removal steps above, or you are uncomfortable running the Windows app elevated.
- You are currently signed in to Windows as user1 — sign in as a different administrator first.
- You need to stay signed into Zoom in this Chrome profile — the extension deletes Zoom cookies on click.
